Almost exactly a year ago, my wife and I decided to buy our
first house. It was monumental decision for us, as I imagine it is for most
people. The frighteningly large amount of money involved, the stress of an
endless stream of financial forms to fill out, the magnitude of commitment (to
each other, to the debt, to the neighborhood, to the house itself), dealing
with sellers and their agents – all this was, I’m not ashamed to say, totally
overwhelming. Jeff was our rock through the whole process.
Jeff was absolutely amazing from the beginning of the
journey through to its conclusion. He found a delightful variety of houses for
us to tour and cheerfully humored me as I wanted to explore every single house
on that list. When we decided to make a bid for our current house, he was a
tireless advocate for our interests. When we expressed concerns or worries, he
was ceaselessly dedicated to alleviating our anxieties. He consistently took
care of business with a thoroughness and professionalism that was, quite
simply, light-years beyond every other experience I’ve ever had with anybody
that I’ve employed for anything. That last sentence is completely free of
hyperbole; if anything, I feel like I’ve UNDERsold him.
Jeff is the best.
